I used to be blind. Figuratively blind.

As days passed by, and life moved on, I was walking around with no sight.

Assuming love was gone. Believing there was only darkness. No single light illuminated my way, at least not that I could see.

One night, de shadows completely surrounded me. Caught in a black hole, I got stuck between life and death.

I had to decide whether or not to go back to the world I already knew, or follow a path unknown.

Conversations with myself and mysterious forces floating around made me realise that it was not time to give up yet.

They told me that once I turned back, I would not talk to them again, until I lost my final breath and was ready for my demise.

I chose life. And woke up two days later, in a surrealistic state of being.

The journey I went through completely changed my point of view.

I was shocked by the pain I had caused.

What was it that brought me back to this life?

It surely could not be love.. Or could it be, after all?

As I was wandering through the room, I found the lightswitch.

I turned it on.

A beautiful sunrise took my breath away, but not my final one, no.

It was the breath of a firstborn child, that just entered a world filled with light, that can only be seen by those who embrace it, and do not seek for dark holes in everything.




Now, I'm surrounded by creatures from heaven in my life. Even though you cannot see their wings, I know they are angels, because they fill my heart with joy and love, every day again, love so pure and tender, it makes you burst.

They just gotta be be angels.

I chose life.

I chose love.
